Wow, that’s almost exactly what happened the first time I travelled with friends to a marathon. Something about hotels really tests friendships.

my family stayed at the same hotel over Spring Break this year. 14th floor FTW!
And it’s DoubleTree. There’s always free Chocolate Chip Cookies.
The 14th floor is indeed a win. When my friend and I shared a room for the first time at an Orycon 6 years ago, it was definitely an eye opener. I spent a lot of the time walking on pins and needles not wanting to step on her toes. Fortunately it got a lot easier, and we haven’t killed each other yet.
