Comic 431 – “Doubts”

Errol: No, I don’t worry. I’ve been a geek all of my life. And all of my life, I have liked things that the majority of people I knew did not know or care about. But I enjoyed it immensely.

Not everyone will like it. Not everyone likes Debs & Errol. I’m ok with all of that. As long as I, and the audience I have in mind for it, like it. πŸ˜€

Besides, this is a crazy, fun project. It’s an insane amount of work, but I’m having a blast! πŸ˜€

Whitless:Β  I do worry, and I doubt a lot, especially when it comes to projects I really care about.Β  But I’ve also been having a lot of fun with this one, and the insane amount of talent we have in this one excites me.Β Β The film process is a new one to me, and sometimes it’s hard to see the big picture when you’re filming bits and pieces here and there, so I can’t wait to see what the finished product looks like.Β  It makes me wish it could be a full time job…it kind of already is, just without pay :D.

  1. Hey, I already pre-ordered the third book of that series. It’s coming to you in October! I got you covered. πŸ™‚

  2. The challenge with doubts is turning them to constructive use, at least in my experience. I’m not always good at doing this, but you can either use them to take a long hard look at your work and work out where it could be better, or you can let it destroy your confidence in work that is actually better than you’ve given yourself credit for.

    • Yup, I usually let myself have one day of insanity with an issue, then take a deep breath and work at making it better πŸ™‚

      • I take it Errol just prefers catching the day of insanity (and making three weeks of comics out of it) rather than catching any of the more productive stuff…
