The real question is, do you guys know what went wrong, and how likely is it to be a problem in future?

  Yes, we know what went wrong. Google hangouts is funny when others try to join.
  
  So we had to join theirs.. and they didn’t have it set up and weren’t really sure on how to do that.
  
  I know our first few times of doing google hangouts were kinda wonky… but then we got the hang of it.
