Comic 1095 – “Scared of Failing”
Errol: We had this discussion as well as many other ones during OVFF. When D&E first started, we failed many times. There were many audiences that gave us blank looks. Failure is important, because we learn to adapt from that. Those first few months of gigging was pivotal in helping us form our performance.
THAT is the reason you guys are so awesome. The ability to fail and take risks is ESSENTIAL in the developing of art. And then the ability to just keep going despite blowing it in front of a crowd of people. 🙂
I find this comic to be very encouraging for the developing musician/artist/writer/director/creative person. 🙂
Thanks for sharing your laughs and struggles through the process. I read almost every single one. 🙂
Love you guys.
*hugs*
Are we still talking about me blowing it in front of thousands of people? *laugh*
Thanks, SWG! I’m glad you enjoy them! It’s interesting chronicling our band! ^_^
Awww, great comic. Failure is freedom, if I remember the NaNo Musical correctly.
BTW, I’m impressed you guys are sleeping outside.
With their D&E shirts on too!
And my glasses!
Well, we’re not really sleeping outside. I just didn’t change the normal background. Guess I should. 😀
