Comic 619 – “Urban Tapestry Concert”
Errol: I may have been a little loud at the concerts.
Manda: What? You weren’t that loud…okay, compared to all the polite clappers in the audience, maybe. Maybe I’m just used to louder Errol. And Urban Tapestry was awesome! I’m a sucker for harmonizing.
Debs: I don’t remember him being loud either, but maybe because Urban Tapestry’s awesomeness just washed out everything else?
I was way over on the other side of the room at this point, so I’m not sure how loud Errol was. I do know that when I was on stage the next day, the reaction I noticed while I was stumbling through my intro was, in fact, Manda’s. So there’s that.
You ignored me? I cheered for you the LOUDEST! I remember that part! 😀 😀
Oh, you cheered, but Manda squealed with glee when it became apparent I was heading towards “Kids These Days.” That was pretty awesome.
So in the end, Kari doesn’t appreciate me. *sigh*
You are terribly hard done by.
Kari is learning
I just want THE Kari to notice me!
That in itself could be a comic: Me cheering louder than Errol. Cause I did. I freaked out when I realized she was doing “Kids these days”
I can’t say I’ve met anyone exactly like me, though I do have similarities with a few of my friends.
I will say I have the ability to meld (get on the same wave-length) with people I’m close to, especially one of my friends I see at Otakon. It takes about 5 minutes and then we’re thinking the same things and saying things at the same time. Lore and I did that in the 3GP chat last Sunday actually. That was kinda amusing since it hardly ever happens over the internet. XD
Jezbel Mind Melding… new super power! 😀
Aww, I wish I’d see that 😀
I’ve met a person or two with a lot of weird commonalities…but I guess my answer to this question is also “no”. Though there are people that I instantly connect to without words. There was an older gentleman at a con over the weekend that Debbie Ohi introduced me to, and it was went something like “Debs, this is -” “You have hug stickers all over you! I’m going to hug you because you’re awesome!” And he was one of the best huggers I’ve ever hugged, seriously ever.
